What are the super healthy foods for your kids that can make them grow the way you like? Let us have a quick look at the super foods which your child should be taking daily.

Spinach or Leavy Veggies:

These are rated as one of the healthiest foods for your kids because they are the richest source of iron and contain calcium in abundance. All the leafy veggies including spinach are rich in nutrients. They are low in calories but high in vitamins, phytonutrients and minerals. Apart from that, they are the excellent sources of Vitamin K, Vitamin A, magnesium, iron, calcium, folate, Vitamin B2, potassium, Vitamin B6 etc. They contain protein, Vitamin E, zinc, copper, dietary fibers and phosphorus. That apart, they are a good source of niacin, selenium and Omega-3 fatty acids.

Carrots:

They are the richest source of Vitamin A and a must have for your child in the formative years. Also to get the optimum health benefits of carrots you should eat them raw. These must be incorporated into the daily diet of your child, be it in the form of salad or juices.

Fresh Milk:

Milk is termed as a complete food and your child must drink a glassful or a two in a day. It is immensely rich in calcium and makes your bone strong. Milk can easily be digested and absorbed in the blood stream and it is an excellent source of proteins. Some children have lactose intolerance. Such children should stay from the fresh milk.
