It has been proved scientifically, that a mere touch from someone you love activates the pressure receptors of your skin. When you are in contact with your partner while cuddling, the sensation of touch activates pressure receptors which are known as Pacinian corpuscles in the body and send signals through the Vagus nerves to the brain.
